Any honest, thinking American cannot view this and not see truth in most of the speaker's comments. However, you needn't agree with the speakers to see that there has been a bogus media characterization of the event and its goals and the motivations of the participants. The shoddy coverage is a clear indication of a lazy media at best and a dishonest media at worst. This huge event was portrayed as if it is a small fringe movement. Nothing could be further from reality. Congress ignores this movement at their own peril.

The Video above is 22.5 minutes long. Interesting perspective. I can't evaluate the accuracy of all of the information. But most of it seems feasible and it fits well with the reality of what we see happening lately. Understanding this is the first step to recovery.

Fraud, Waste and Abuse
Can somebody explain to me why we need to wait for a new law to make us eliminate Fraud, Abuse and Waste in Medicare and Medicaid?
If it is going to be that easy to do, then why are we waiting ,even a single day, to get it taken care of. After the fraud, abuse and waste are eliminated, then we can decide what to do with the extra money.

The Presidential Back to School Address to our Students
I read the speech yesterday. My overall impression is that the speech was good, but way too much about Barack Obama. Unnecessarily and gratuitously so.Instead of his own story of hardship growing up it could /should have been about Abe Lincoln. Instead of his wife's story of overcoming adversity, It could/should have been re: his new Supreme Court appointee.
