Grand Funk Railroad

You guys don't know Grand Funk? The wild, shirtless lyrics of Mark Farner? The bone rattling bass of Mel Schacher? The competent drum work of Don Brewer?

Grand Funk Railroad paved the way for Jefferson Airplane, which cleared the way for Jefferson Starship. The stage was now set for the Alan Parsons Project, which I believe was some sort of hovercraft.

If you'd like to learn more about Grand Funk Railroad consult your local public library.

Atributed to Homer Simpson addressing Bart and Lisa and a carload of other children enroute to school shortly before heading to Hullabalooza, in the twenty-fourth episode of the seventh season of  The Simpsons,  and the one-hundred and fifty-second episode overall. (1996)  .

Correction

You're almost correct. Homer Simpson did say those lines, in the episode entitled "Homerpalooza." However, he was addressing not only Bart and Lisa, but the rest of the carpool, which included (I may be mistaken, but I believe it was) Milhouse, Nelson, and Martin. And they weren't on their way to Hullabalooza. That came later in the episode. For these lines, they were en route to the Elementary School.

None of this matters, of course, but I always correct any factual errors that pertain to The Simpsons.

I stand corrected.

I actually thought that Homer dropped of the others and the headed to hullapalooza with Bart and Lisa.  But my memory fades.
